This is more like it. A Parliamentarian musket unit ready for action. A nice snow day combined with some strategic nap times for the girls let me finish these 12 guys up quite quickly. Look out for a pike detachment in the future!

For Convenant and Crowne
Christmas vacation and finally some progress on the Scots. A unit of 20 pike and 22 shotte ready to go. The shotte will most likely get rounded out to 24 but I'm itching to get some pictures posted. The frame guns have also been based. Given their forward position it seems proper to get them onto a base so they don't take up too little frontage and become sniping artillery. I'm 50/50 on the black outlining for the saltire, but it looked sloppy otherwise.
Those laddies in the back of the pike block are Warlord. They're based on 40x40mm squares and they do a fantastic job of filling out the rear ranks. They won't win any beauty pageants standing next to the Foundry figs, but they paint up relatively fast and they do their job well.
